How do I make an appointment?
The best thing to do is to get in touch with me so we can have a brief telephone consultation. This consultation is free of charge and we can chat about what you’re looking for from counselling. If you’re happy, then we can book an appointment for our first session at a mutually agreeable time.
To arrange a consultation, you can contact me via telephone or email.
Please click here for details of all the ways you can get in touch.
How many sessions will I need?
The right amount of sessions for one person will be different to the next. However, once I have a better idea of the problems you wish to focus on in counselling, I can give you a better idea of how many sessions you might be looking at. We would also build regular reviews into our work together, so we can both keep an eye on progress towards your goals and check that the process remains helpful to you.
I’m happy to offer both short term and long term counselling.
Would my sessions be kept confidential?
I take your confidentiality of what we talk about in sessions very seriously and, for this reason, what you share with me is never shared with others, unless I was concerned about your safety or welfare, or that of somebody else’s. During our first session, I would explain a bit more about this and answer any questions you might have.
When do you offer appointments?
I try to offer as much flexibility as I can with appointment times, including offering appointments at the weekend. Please contact me to discuss your needs.
